AT Hike - Caleb's Peak, St. John's Ledges, River Walk

Hosted By
George R. and Oliver C.

Details
This 11.4 mile hike starts on Route 341 in Kent, crosses over the strenuous Caleb's Peak and St. John's Ledges, continues with miles of easy walking along the Housatonic River (the longest stretch of flat on the entire Appalachian Trail), and ends with one last difficult climb up Silver Hill before finishing at Route 4 in Cornwall. There will be fine views on Caleb's Peak and steep downhill rock scrambling on St. John's Ledges.
This will be a shuttle hike. We meet at parking on Route 4 (Junction with Route 7), and drive a car over to the starting point on Route 341 (41.731083, -73.490661). Please bring food and at least two liters of water.
