Hi,
I’m Deren, and I’ve been living in Lisbon for the last 2.5 years. Lisbon’s vibrant culture and love for food inspired me to follow my passion: bringing people together around the table. Last year, I started my own supper club, but life got in the way, and I had to pause. When I decided to start again and create a new account, I saw that the Lisbon Supper Club was looking for an organizer—and I knew it was a sign. Now, I’m back—and I’m thrilled to take over the Lisbon Supper Club.
This club was founded by Jake, and over the years, it’s hosted more than 200 events, exploring everything from Greek feasts to Thai nights. My plan? To keep the spirit alive but add my own flavor to it. Every week, at my place, I’ll be hosting Mediterranean-inspired dinners, focusing on the tables I know best: Greek and Turkish. Think meze spreads, fresh fish, smoky kebabs, and the kind of warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re sharing a meal with family.
This isn’t just about food—it’s about connection. Whether you’re a local, an expat, or just passing through, this is a place to meet new people, share stories, and enjoy the kind of meals that leave you full in every way. Let’s keep this community alive, one delicious bite at a time.
