### Introduction and Philosophy

We will use a very specific camera setup and behaviour approach that allows us to capture everyone we fancy, quite close, without pointing the camera at them, using one of the most spontaneous modes of Street Photography - Candid Captures (examples at gallery below)

Dynamics and Practice
We will do only a 2 Km walk, but slow and steady to make this particular technique work the best for 100% spontaneous up closes

### Required Equipment (required)

• Digital DSLR or Mirrorless Camera with shooting modes: manual, aperture and shutter
• Lenses that specifically allow to shoot at 24mm (crop) or 35mm (full frame)

### Optional Equipment (not mandatory)

Getting to Meeting point

• Train: Rossio Station (then walk up Calçada do Carmo, turn right, and go up Rua do Alecrim to the viewpoint)
• Metro: Restauradores (then walk up Calçada da Glória) or Baixa-Chiado (then walk up Rua do Alecrim)
• Buses: 758, from Portas de Benfica to Cais do Sodré via Largo do Rato (exit right in front of the Viewpoint/Bairro Alto)
• Car: Best to park at Praça da Alegria, halfway up Avenida da Liberdade, and walk up slightly to the starting point, which is then closer to the end location.
