Feeling stuck or want to raise your vibration? Open up your heart? Bring your drum, or use one of the LHSC drums, or simply sit or lay and receive the vibrations for letting go of any stuck energy in the body and in your auric field. Led by Jay Peterson we will have a variety of adventures using the power of the drum to open up the heart, let go of the monkey mind, connecting to Mother Earth, and shifting the stagnant.

Plus, drumming has proven research related to accelerated healing, raise white blood cell counts, boosting the immune system, and aiding in releasing emotional trauma. In today’s world, we can all use more of that!

$15 energy exchange for participants – all contributions will go towards LHSC. Let’s raise money for LHSC, fill the sanctuary up with drummers and blow the roof off the place!

Beginners are welcome! Just bring your intentions, and be open to energy. Bring a friend and join us for a high vibrational experience that will leave you zinging with energy.

Recovery Dharma welcomes anyone who is looking to heal from addiction and addictive behavior, whether it’s caused by substance use or process addictions like codependency, gambling, eating disorders, relationships, technology, or any obsessive or habitual pattern that creates suffering. We’ve found that this Buddhist-inspired path can lead to liberation from the suffering of addiction, and we support you in finding your own path to recovery.

Our group practices confidentiality. We are a drop in group, no registration is required. Our meeting is for all who are in recovery or who are interested in recovery. Everyone is welcome regardless of beliefs or non-beliefs. No prior knowledge of Buddhism or meditation required. Always free, donations welcome.

Hi, I’m Lindsay. I have been inspired by movement my entire life, and have enjoyed dance performing, teaching, and creating. I am interested in each individual discovering their unique way to move and express themselves, and I currently embrace guided improvisation as my facilitation style. This hour will be based in movement meditation, taking an embodied approach to the body scan, with attention to breathe, ease, and moving into comfort. We will tune deeply into the senses as we move through simple guided movement exploration and awareness practices. I believe gentle movement can be self nourishing, can spark curious discoveries, and is a delightful and easy entrance into the present moment. Movement practices have always been the foundation from which the rest of my life education and curiosities spring and I love to share them with others. I wish to create an embodied, supportive, judgment-free environment for this unfolding. If we start with nourishing ourselves, we can in turn nourish others.
