Join me for a fun morning hike (and picnic) at the Olinda Oil Museum Trail—beautiful landscape and beauty. 1.8 miles, 357 Elev. gain, 1 hour to hike the loop.

It's not a fast-paced hike, and there are some great artifacts to see.

Hike takes about an hour and if you'd like bring a picnic lunch and we use the tables at the museum and have a relaxing picnic lunch.

The hours of the museum state open from 12-4p, so anyone who wants to check that out can do so as well, I plan on it.

Try this 1.8-mile loop trail near Brea, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 54 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
Although this trail is shorter in distance, it has some steep sections leading up to the top of the hill. This trail leads you through an area rich in oil drilling history. The pump along the trail is a "horsehead" style pump that has been active for over a century. The Olinda Ranch community grew from the 1920s on as thousands of people moved to the area to work in the oil fields. Enjoy the views and check out the Olinda oil museum at the end of your visit.
