Whether you are a curious consumer of music, a life-long musician or just beginning your own journey with any instrument, “Music (Theory) in 90 Minutes” is for you!

Language Transfer applies the Thinking Method to the world of music in order to figure out exactly what makes music what it is. We take an alternative perspective which still coincides with traditional music theory yet explains it in a new way - based not on memorisation but of true understanding of the phenomena we play with when we make music.
Seasoned musicians will enjoy a rejuvenating new perspective, and beginners will gain the confidence to play and improvise music with a new understanding - a confidence which is often only achieved after years of painfully repetitive study, and maybe not even then!
No instrument is necessary to do the workshop, but feel free to bring one along!

The more I fall into the rabbit hole of looking at the world through the lens of music, the more I see its principles reflected elsewhere and everywhere: in rock formation, in the colour spectrum, in origami even - a piece of paper can be folded into a swan in the same way to how we fold or divide pitch and time into music.
