What we’re about
The Kwara Environmental Statistics R Group is established to gather and disseminate environmental information to Kwarans as an immediate community and the entire world. These include data/information on waste disposal, climate change, safety health practices, etc. The group will make use of both secondary and primary data for analysis.
The membership of this group is open to anybody with a passion for maintaining a safe environment. It is also for those with a passion for R statistical software for data analysis.
During meetings, there will be enlightenment on the environment and the use of R: talks, training, conferences, outdoor campaigns, workshops, and visits to sensitive public places such as the market, schools, related government ministries/departments/agencies, etc.
