We’ll explore how to create keyboard-friendly UIs.

We’ll kick things off with a demo of a TV–style app, where users can select a profile, browse content, start playback, and control the media using only a keyboard—just like they would on a smart TV. Then, we’ll break down how it’s built using Flutter’s Focus, Shortcuts, and Actions widgets, along with keyboard event handling to enable smooth, intuitive navigation and interaction.
So if you’ve ever wondered how to make your app keyboard friendly, this session will give you practical techniques to do just that.

As your Flutter app grows, so does its dependency tree. Using widget-based Dependency Injection (DI)—such as Provider—can cause your widget tree to expand beyond manageable limits, potentially leading to issues like StackOverflowErrors.

In this talk, we'll take a closer look at Dependency Injection and Service Locator concepts, demonstrating their practical application in Flutter apps through straightforward examples. I'll explore common DI strategies in the Flutter ecosystem, from the native InheritedWidget to widely adopted tools like Provider, GetIt, and Riverpod—and how each fits into real-world projects.
Based on my own experience and mistakes scaling Flutter apps, I’ll show how this issue can emerge as your app and its dependencies grow, and what techniques—such as scoping or using alternative DI solutions—can help prevent it. We'll also look at non-widget-based DI approaches like GetIt and Riverpod that offer more stability in large-scale architectures.
This talk isn't about avoiding Provider or widget-based DI—it’s about understanding the trade-offs, spotting early signs of architectural strain, and making informed decisions to support long-term app scalability and stability.
