Kick On Sunshine Coast is an open group to meet new people and have fun around the Sunshine Coast at bars, clubs and pubs.
The group is open to all, young, old, single, married, divorced. The aim is to get people from different walks of life together to chat and have a fun night.
Growing up on the Sunshine Coast, I found it hard to meet new people outside of my school friends and people at work, and felt we didn't have good social spaces outside these locations. I've spent a full year in Melbourne, and due to a massive meetup community filled with awesome people, I was able to make a heap of great friends that I'd hang out with EVERY weekend.
After about 9 months, I decided to start hosting my own meetups in Melbourne, and due to the amount of people I'd met in that time, was able to get good levels of attendance (as well as being one of the few Saturday night targeted meetups). I want to bring a similar group and vibe to the Sunshine Coast, and build a meetup community here.
