...and we invite you to join us! Everyone is always welcome.
Jakarta Friends is the community to meet new people while doing unique activities in Jakarta. We play board games, talk business, socialize, eat and drink together, do language exchanges, explore the city by walking and culinary tours, and much more! It's all about authentic connections in an uncomplicated and informal setting.

Together, we are creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. This group is a convergence of people and cultures.
Over the past 1,5 year, we have had more than 150 events with over 1,500 attendees. Everyone should always feel welcome to join disregarding from their ethnicity, nationality, religion, creed, age, language skills, gender identification, sexual orientation, background, ability, income, social status, or any other arbitrary trait.
From September 2024, we have a yearly membership fee to join our events. The membership fee is not expensive and gives access to all events + exclusive perks! There's so much more value to members than having an event fee. We guarantee keep organising plenty of events and the fee is refundable if the group closes down or if there are no events for more than three months. You can attend the first event for free and take a look!

- marketing promotions without checking with the admin first (including aggressive marketing strategies, pet trading, self-centered offers, non-relevant posts)

ABOUT THE EVENT
There's no business without business networking... it's all about connecting, learning from each other & getting inpired.This event is FOR EVERYONE who is doing any kind of business in Jakarta or online. Let's get together and have a BUSINESS SPEED NETWORKING (Vol. VII)
The setting is very simple: We will meet and sit together. It's like a speed dating session, but the topic is business! Everyone will ge the chance to talk with as many people as possible. Everyone will have about 3 minutes to give an elevator pitch about their business/story/project/idea to every person they talk to! After the 2h session is over, we will mingle and connect. Are you reay to bring your business idea to the next level?
The language will be in English. Your English doesn't have to be perfect, just good enough for people to understand you. This is your change to improve your business English and to promote yourself and your great ideas, business, and projects!
Enterpreneurs, creatives, start-uppers, local business owners, professionals with big dreams and bold plans are very welcome to join in this informal business networking.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Pos Bloc (https://www.instagram.com/posblocjkt) is a fantastic, historical building transformed into event venue. There's plenty of café and eateries all around.HOW TO REGISTER TO THE EVENT?
To register, just click “Attend”! There are a few simple rules- We kindly ask attendees who cannot manage to join to update RSVP at least 24 h before the event as a courtesy to other attendees and event organisers.
- Come with a business suit, if you want to (although this is not mandatory!), but most importantly: come with a smile and clear goal of what you want to achieve. And don't forget to bring your business cards!
- Be on time! We need to start this business networking session together. Latecomers cannot be accomodated.
- People in the waitlist cannot attend, and are encouraged to check a few hours before the event if they got a spot
- Repeated no-show (3X) without updating RSVP will be removed from the group.

WE HAVE A MEMBERSHIP FEE. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Since October 2024, our community has a membership fee of 300k IDR valid for 365 days after payment. Membership fee is offered with a promo discount to new members and first-timers, who can become members for 220k IDR/year. That's only 20-25k IDR/month, and there's plenty of value in becoming a member!Membership to both Jakarta Friends and Jakarta Creatives is offered for only 320k IDR/year. Membership gives access to all events plus exclusive perks available only to paying members, like for example our Birthday Celebrations with lucky draws. To many events, attendees can bring a +1 for free.
First-timers can decide to attend one event for free and see if they like becoming part of this community. Membership can be paid on the spot (cash/bank transfer/Gopay). Text Corrado (+62 89211 489 3580) if you have any questions about membership.
To all members we guarantee to keep organizing plenty of events. You will receive a full refund if the group closes down, or if there’s no event happening in three months.
