๐ HELLO AND WELCOME TO MOVIE ROADHOUSE LONDON THE LARGEST MOVIE CLUB IN LONDON MADE BY MOVIE FANS FOR MOVIE FANS.
In a nutshell, we are just a bunch of Film Buffs, Filmmakers and Creators who like to go out for drinks and watch movies. We also rate and review the films after we watch them and the results are posted on our **Letterboxd **Page.
We are also avid supporters of Independent Cinema, The Film Festival Guild, Medicinema and establishments like Prince Charles Cinema and the British Film Institute to mention a few. Thanks to this we sometimes gain special access and discounts to special events that we can then share with you. Plus we meet up regularly for a social to catch up again at the BFI which is a lot of fun.
We try to stay well informed when it comes to film news, New Releases and Re-Releases and members are also able to vote for what films they want to see through our WhatsApp Group (at request), WhatsApp Channel, Telegram Group (at request) and Telegram Channel.
Whatever the time of year we do our best to always be around, come and join us for a good time.

๐ผ WHAT IS UP WITH 1987?
It could be because itโs part of a timeless decade which is remembered fondly for its music, movies, and fashion. It is also regarded by many as a golden age of entertainment and a time of relative simplicity before the rise of the big bad net. But is there something else going on that we can't let this go?Hey guys ๐ It is always fun to go back to this popcorn time of life. I've been looking forward to this new film by Anna Boden and Ryan K. Fleck who have recently returned to Indie filmmaking after their lukewarm experience at the House of Mouse. Maybe because indie is where all the fun and creativity is. We all know that but we are just always so seduced by brands. This is going to be an anthology film with four interconnected stories set of course in 1987 Oakland which will involve punks as we knew them, a rap duo, a henchman, and an NBA All-Star. All of this is already giving me nostalgia for last yearโs Maxxxine which was also set in this cool era.
But why is it that we are always looking back? Is it because we are already living that dystopian like society they said we would end at? Just a thought. Okay, Okay, so let's go back and relive some moments. Here is the details bellow
- 6:00 PM: Meet me downstairs at the Prince Charles Cinema Bar and I will be there with a sign.
- 6:30 PM: We move upstairs to Screen 2 where we have selected seats A6 and A7
- 8:30 PM: We briefly reconvene where we will Review & Score the Film. The results will be posted on Letterboxd.

While his love for his friends may be his greatest weakness, it is also his greatest strength.Hey guys ๐ I have to say that I absolutely loved the previous instalment. I haven't been on the edge of my seat while sitting on it in a very very long time. I guess it's because I find it harder to engage in movies today. And I'm not the only one who thinks that. I totally get why they needed Tom Cruise to save Hollywood. He's a proper action pro who's not afraid to jump from heights. So this is movie will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie who has pretty much been in-charge since Rogue Nation. And also recently, he directed the super awesome Top Gun Maverick. Part of the plan is to keep the details of this movie concealed, just like a good mission. So I guess We'll Burn That Bridge When We Come To It!
I'm so glad that the wait is almost over and I'm looking forward to being again with you on the edge of my seat. I'll come back to you with more details of the meetup as we get closer to the date. Bye for now.

This is like a blast from the past, well sort of or at least I hope so. You see back in the day we would receive movies that were sort of tongue in cheek yet action packed, fun and we love them that way. It was a good suspension from reality. Then somehow we lost that until a little show called Cobra Kai revived the awkward kid on the block. So I guess it was inevitable to revive the beloved Karate Kid Legacy. And no offence to Mr Smith's Version but Iโm so glad that they didnโt follow that up. The original franchise was so much better. This will also be director Jonathan Entwistle's first martial art film, and it's looking good so far but fingers crossed ๐ค nonetheless.
