Join us as we look at Tolstoy, Chekhov, and Dostoevsky!

We will read Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard for March 6, and begin talking Anna Karenina on Sunday, April 3. Since we take our time on bigger works, we will be looking at it the first Sunday of each month in April, May, and June.

We finished our tour of Tolstoy's War and Peace this Sunday, February 6. In the past we have successfully studied Dante's Inferno and Purgatorio; we have read John Milton's Paradise Lost together, and we've completed an examination of Homer's Iliad and Aeschylus' Agamemnon. For two years, we immersed ourselves in the world of William Faulkner's Yoknapatawpha County. For the next year or so, though, we will be doing (Putin-excepted) Russian literature.
