Hello, we're It's a Date - a London-based speed dating and singles events company. We’re professional icebreakers; reviving London’s dating scene with feel-good events, in awesome venues, with fun and charismatic hosts.
Personal experience and our single friends have taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to finding love. It’s why we set to work redesigning dating events, creating opportunities for you to express yourself authentically and meet like-minded singles.

Our Singles Party keeps growing in popularity as we welcome more and more guests in the 25 to 38 age group each month to meet, mix, and match! You can expect to connect with up to 140 eligible Londoners in a fun, relaxed, and informal setting.
A few moments from King’s Cross station you will find Drake & Morgan, a trendy and cosmopolitan bar spread over two floors with a great atmosphere and eclectic crowd. We welcome around 140 guests for introductions and socialising in a private area reserved exclusively for It's a Date. For those who like a bit of dance floor action, the venue has a DJ keeping the energy high and good times flowing in the basement bar until late.
Your hosts will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. They will be wearing a big smile and easy to spot, but if you’re uncertain just ask one of the friendly bar team.
Hosts will indicate the area reserved exclusively for our event, offer you an optional name sticker, and direct you to where to leave your jacket. A complimentary welcome drink is offered to guests arriving before 20:00 – no better reason to arrive in good time!
When comfortable, your hosts will introduce you to other guests and aid group mingling. Singles parties are more casual and informal in structure – a great opportunity to meet and network with other like-minded single people in a relaxed and fun environment. Our hosts will be there from start to finish to ensure you have the chance to meet everyone and make any special introductions at your request.
With around 140 guests at every party, there is heaps of opportunity to make new connections, enjoy a couple of drinks, and soak up the atmosphere.
After the evening concludes, you can access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on those you have met and await your matches. A match is struck when two guests reciprocate identical feedback; indicating mutual intent to reconnect and enabling messaging via our online platform.

This venue has a remarkably warm and welcoming vibe, combined with our charismatic host and a great bunch of outgoing singles, and you have the recipe for a fantastic Friday evening of introductions!
Our host will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab any drinks from the bar, and receive a summary of how things will work. You will be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and note card to keep track of everyone you’ve met.
Ladies will be seated on tables adequately spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating commences, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another. Your host will notify all guests at the end of each date, signalling for gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order.
During table rotations you will have a moment to record on note cards your feelings towards the previous date and intention to reconnect, for your reference only.
Mid-way through the evening, your host will indicate a 15-minute comfort break to use the rest room, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening.
At the end of the speed dating the bar will remain open for more socialising. You can then access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on dates and await your matches.

Get your game face on and prepare to Connect (4) with a lively group of single guests, aged 40 to 55, as you enjoy new and nostalgic table games at an awesome London venue.
Draughts is a super-fun concept bar located in the iconic Leake Street Graffiti tunnel just steps away from Waterloo Station. This unique games-themed event is hosted in a private area of the venue – The Loft, with a contemporary vibe, beautifully exposed brickwork, and our own private bar.
This is a doubles speed dating event, so be prepared to get to know other single people in an entertaining and interactive way as you move between tables playing new and nostalgic games in groups of four. Designed for social singles booking individually or with friends, you will be welcomed by our host at 19:15 and have the chance to grab a drink from the bar before we begin.
Ladies will be paired and seated comfortably on tables with various board games. These are selected to be short in duration (approximately 12-minutes) and great for helping you break the ice as you get to know your fellow players. Gents will be invited to rotate around the tables in pairs, playing a variety of entertaining games, having no shortage of laughs along the way.
There will be a half-time comfort break and lots of opportunity to mingle with others in this informal yet lively setting.
Post-event matching will be available on your It’s a Date dashboard where you could find you’re on a winning streak in love as well as in Jenga!

Covent Garden—a super-friendly and informal bar with an awesome array of craft beers, independent spirits, and soft drinks. We’ll gather in a private space of the venue for introductions to a fun group of singles, all ready for a good time and eager to make new connections at this popular mid-week event.
Our host will be at the venue, ready to welcome you at 19:30. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab any drinks from the bar, and receive a quick summary of how the evening will unfold. You’ll be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and a note card to keep track of everyone you’ve met.
