Connecticut Active Singles

GPS: 800 Westfield Rd., Meriden. 691 E towards 66, and take Exit 1 for Preston Ave. Left end at of ramp & go 1.5 Miles. Turn right onto Bee St. Go 2 blocks & just past Golf course, turn left at Giuffrida Park sign. Meet at top.

NO KIDS - NO DOGS - NO SNEAKERS, Wear hiking boots. Buffet breakfast or early lunch after each hike. Hike starts at 9:30AM sharp, please arrive at 9:00AM. Hike will last approximately 2 hour. Singles Only 30s-70s. For those of you new to Active Singles, please check-in with Charlie upon arrival (baseball cap and bright colored shirt).

We hike at four different group levels:
Social: 3 to 4 miles
Moderate-Intermediate: 4 to 5 miles
Advanced: 5 to 6 miles
Expert: 6 to 7 miles

We will meet for lunch at 12:00 at Young Youngs Chinese Buffet. GPS: GPS is 1668 Meriden Waterbury Rd, Southington. From the hike, turn right onto Westfield Rd, and then continue onto Bee St. Turn left onto Baldwin Ave, and then continue on Preston Ave. Turn right to take I-691 west. Drive about 5 to 6 miles, take the Route 10 Exit 7 ramp, and turn right on Route 10 North. At the second traffic light, turn left on to Route 322. Meet a half a mile down on the left in a small plaza.

Lunch immediately afterwards at 12 noon at Rossini’s Italian Restaurant. GPS: 529 West Main St, Cheshire. From the hike, turn right onto Mt. Carmel Ave, and then turn right onto Route 10. Drive straight for 5 to 6 miles. Turn left onto Route 68 westbound (West Main St.) Meet a mile down road on the left. This will be an Italian Buffet. This is a pre-pay of $20 before the hike.
