Welcome to the Inverness Kiki Family! This is a wholesome meetup geared towards ALL in the LGBTQ+ community (female, non-binary, male, trans, cis, gender queer etc), all are welcome, as are our fabulous allies!
This will be a safe, welcoming space for anyone who wants to get acclimated to the area, find friends with whom to enjoy social activities, and make lasting connections. If anyone feels nervous about coming to such a meetup, feel free to send me a direct message via meetup, and we can discuss any reservations you may have.
Please note, we get many more attendees than it appears on here, as most of our attendees find us through facebook, instagram etc. For example, our weekly Thursday meetup regularly attracts 20+ people.
The LGBTQ+ community includes (but is not limited to) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Asexual, Intersex, and Pansexual. If you feel one or more of these groups do not belong in the community, then this is NOT the meetup group for you. We strive to make this a safe space for trans and non-binary folk, as such 'gender critical' beliefs are not welcome.
Accessibility: we want everyone to be able to get something from this group. If you have a disability or special requirement that you feel may affect your ability to attend or enjoy our meetups, feel free to send a direct message here, and let's sort something out!
