WELCOME TO IMPROV INTERMEDIATE WORKSHOPS where you will get to push your limits every time again!

ImprovStar workshops are THE PLACE if you really want to learn improv tools and strengthen yourself personally and your "own style" in a very fun and constructive atmosphere.
If you are new to Improv, don't hesitate to try us out- we can teach you the games, exercises and tools very fast because ImprovStar believes it's more about the positive & constructive mindset, which is the only thing you need to bring along:)

What does it look like?
We always introduce specific Improv-tools to strengthen each other to play these out immediately on stage to give us more choices, awareness and empower ourselves to dive deeper within our characters.

All workshops will concentrate on physical and mental boundaries on stage and off. We need to find our own base comfort zone before we can ask others to play with us authentically. This is an ongoing challenge and allows you to discover your limitations whilst gathering important skills and receiving constructive feedback.

Whilst improvising together, we ask ourselves to be respectful, vulnerable, sensitive as well as spontaneous and quick witted. Well, what happens when topics get awkward or boundaries are rising? Can we look closer at what topics make us uncomfortable and find out how to play them out?
(i.e.: Political, Gender, Religious, Racial, Sexual, personal trigger issues etc.)

Be prepared to be side-coached & enjoy an evening of fun!

Please understand that once you have successfully registered for the event on Meetup and set yourself as going, we expect you to be there OR update your RSVP latest the night before 12am. Last-minute cancellations, or not showing up will leave you with the fair responsibility of paying the session, regardless if you took part. (This fair policy supports the groups existence to be able to pay rent, insurances and meetup costs as well as respectively understanding the host has planned you into their session and based the exercises around the attendees, signed up!)

Workshop prices:
Our regular price for a drop-in intensive 2,5-hour workshop is 15, - EUR.
For enthusiasts, we offer 5 prepaid consecutive workshops for 50, - EUR (10€ per session).
Please understand that if you have set yourself as Going (or Waitlisted), you can change your mind until midnight the previous day. Setting yourself to Not Going on the day of the event (or not showing up) is considered a no-show. If you have prepaid consecutive sessions, the normal fee will still be booked off. If you have not paid but don't respect the rsvp policy, you will still be liable to pay that session.
We hope you understand that this allows us to plan ahead, and pay the rent etc.
