Sugarloaf Hill Trail / Castle Rock Unique Area

Sugarloaf Hill Trail is considered a moderate, in and out hike, that's part of the Hudson Highlands state park. We'll have a 623' elevation gain in 1.5ish miles, so about the same challenge as Storm King, but shorter! It's worth the climb, for the views are stunning!

• Remember to bring plenty of water for your companion and yourself. Dress according to the forecast. If snow or ice is on the trail you must bring spikes!
• If you sign up for this hike, show up!
• If you have a history of no-shows, you will be moved to the wait-list.
• If you have a history of last-minute cancelations, you might be moved to the waitlist.
• This organizer reserves the right to add from the wait-list as I see fit. Please be on time! Most of your co-hikers arrive at the trailhead 15-20 min early to be ready. Please show them the respect they deserve.
