What we’re about
Houston Town Futsal Club is a coed group for adults (18+) of all skill levels interested in playing 5-a-side futsal (soccer without the use of walls) and socializing with other fans of the beautiful game or just Houstonians in general.
HTFC started as a way for new and longtime Houstonians to meet one another through the futsal version of the beautiful game, to grow awareness for the sport, and to provide an organized place to play futsal in the city.
We look forward to kicking it with you soon and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out!
For Houston,
David Redd

See all- Street Soccer in East Downtown (EaDo) HoustonThe Block Street Soccer Court, Houston, TX
This unofficial street soccer court was created as part of the Houston Town Futsal Ball-A-Block program. These weekend pickups at The Block are free to play, but donations are appreciated to help maintain the space.
Ball-A-Block Program
Ball-A-Block is our version of the Adopt-A-Block program, but in the process of picking up litter, we are also creating open spaces for public use where Houstonians can play street soccer. Essentially, this is our DIY approach to making use of dilapidated asphalt surfaces and/or concrete structures and flipping them into pop-up futsal courts for pubic use.Location
The Block street soccer court is located in at EaDog Park (across the street from 8th Wonder Brewery) at 2218 Polk St.How We Play
- Don't be a dick (don't be the one killing the vibe)
- 5v5 (no goalies)
- 1st team to two goals wins (5:00 minute games if no goal scored)
- King of the Court (winner stays)
- You shank, you shag (you kick the ball off the court then you get it)
Post-Game / True Anomaly Brewing
As our East Downtown pickup partner and helping us bring awareness to our Ball-A-Block program, we invite everyone to True Anomaly Brewing afterwards for discounted drinks and to talk the beautiful game. What to Bring
