"Are You Ready for Anti-Phishing with Passkey?" by M.C. Lam

As phishing attacks become increasingly sophisticated, traditional SMS-based verification may no longer provide the level of protection organizations need. In this session, we’ll explore SFC’s updated cybersecurity guidance and its move toward passkeys—a more secure, phishing-resistant way to verify users. You’ll learn how passkeys work, why they are gaining traction, and what the change could mean for your organization.

We’ll also look at how passkeys can be used to protect a WordPress website, including the potential benefits, practical considerations, and steps to plan for adoption. Whether you manage a website or help shape your organization’s security practices, join us to discover how passkeys can strengthen account protection and help prepare your WordPress site for the next generation of authentication.
