Womenās Circle: Death Cafe ā Conversations About Life, Death & What Matters.

-Join us for a special Womenās Circle Death Cafe, an evening of open, thoughtful, and compassionate conversation about death, dying, grief, life, and the things that matter most to us.
The modern Death Cafe movement was founded in London in 2011 by Jon Underwood, inspired by the work of Swiss sociologist Bernard Crettaz. Since then, Death Cafes have brought people together around the world to talk openly about a subject that is often avoided in everyday conversation.
A Death Cafe is not grief counseling, therapy, or a support group, and there is no agenda or particular belief system. Instead, we gather in a welcoming circle to listen, share stories, ask questions, wonder aloud, laugh when laughter comes, and explore our thoughts about mortality in the company of others.
We might talk about:
ā¢ What does a āgood deathā mean to you?
ā¢ What have the deaths of people we love taught us about living?
ā¢ What are we afraid ofāand what brings us peace?
ā¢ How do our spiritual or personal beliefs influence the way we understand death?
ā¢ If we truly remembered that our time is finite, what might we do differently with the life we have now?
You are welcome to speak, listen, reflect, or simply be present. There is no pressure to share.
Come as you are. Bring your curiosity, your questions, your stories, and your whole heart.
All women are welcome. No particular spiritual or religious beliefs are required.

šŖ»Children: We ask that you do not bring children to circle. At times, the nature of our discussions are very personal, graphic and are adult in nature. Occasionally, women experience deep emotional, psychological and physiological release. It is our quest to provide a safe space for spiritual healing and transformation.
