What we’re about
This is not a nature walk group. This group is for avid hikers. Hey, we all have a tent in the closet so let's make a weekend out of it. You do not have to be a camper but you do need to be able to hike 3 mph for 6 miles. If you do not camp, you can go on the hikes or just hangout at the campfire. It is all about the campfire. RVs and campers are welcome.
We will typical camp in Ohio, Ky and Indiana. Our favorite venues are group campsites. With the group sites there are little or no neighbors and have a lot more privacy.
This is an adult only group.
If you are a heavy drinker, you would not be a good this group. Most of our members are moderate drinkers or do not drink.
Please leave your dog at home. We have had issues with dog bites.

Get a room at the lodge, or get a cabin, or get a campsite. Whatever you are going to do, do it quick. This is a very popular state park and all the places to stay are filling up quick.

I am at lot 79. Meet for 6 mile hike Saturday 10:00 am at the lot 79. Meals at the lodge will be determined by the group. Bring a head lamp, we may do a mystical creature hunt Saturday night.
This venue hast it all, kayaking, mountain bike trails, hiking and swimming. The largest kayak delivery in the state is just a few miles from the park.
The lodge has an indoor heated pool. You can buy a day pass for $12.
The Mohican Restaurant – Bromfield’s Dining Room – offers full service and affordable dining, open for three meals daily.

We are trying to get camping spots along in the electric section along the river. If you want to camp on the river and the 1 section is full, they have another section but it does not have electricity.Reserve a campsite or cabin.
