Hike Norfolk: Knettishall Heath/ 11 miles / Sun. 4th May

Please join me on a walk from Knettishall Heath. Please arrive by 9.45am in order for us to have a prompt 10am start
Parking is £2.50 for the day, the machine DOES NOT take coins but you can pay by card or using the RINGO app.
We will leave the car park at 10am and head along the Angles Way towards Riddlesworth Hall School. We will then cross the A1066 and head towards West Harling Heath where we will explore the woods.
We will stop for lunch at the Thorpe Forest Holiday park where there are toilets and a cafe.
After lunch we will follow the Peddars Way back to Knettishall where we will hopefully see the wild ponies before returning back to the car park.
There are toilets at the car park at the start and at the lunch stop at Thorpe Forest holiday park.
Well behaved dogs on a short lead are welcome on this walk.
The pace will be moderate at approx. 3 - 3.5 mph.
Please arrive in good time so that you are ready to walk at 10am.
Meet at the Knettishall Heath Nature Reserve car park,
Knettishall, Thetford IP22 2TQ.

Please remember to wear sturdy shoes/boots and warm and wet weather clothing if required. Also, bring a drink and a packed lunch.
Please only put your name down if you are fully committed to attend. If due to unforeseen circumstances you do have to cancel, please do so as early as possible so that someone can take your place.
