What we’re about
Welcome to Hike Putnam and Beyond.
This group consists of people who enjoy hiking at a relaxed pace. Join us for some wonderful outdoor activities with some nice people. We will explore trails in the area, mostly in Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Fairfield, Litchfield, and Duchess Counties, as well as other locations from time to time. Non hiking events may also be scheduled. While you should have a reasonable level of fitness, hiking experience is not necessary. Most of our hikes will be relaxed but moderate in pace, distance & terrain. There may be some more challenging trails included too. I will provide details and links for each hike - please use the information provided to decide if the hike is right for your needs and level of fitness. I think we should all have a good time on these hikes. For more information, please read the About Us pages http://hiking.meetup.com/370/about/

I can’t imagine a world without love. Why, if you take away love, you take away the purpose for living!”SET BETWEEN A SLEEPY HUDSON RIVER TOWN and the bustling metropolis of 1880’s New York City, Thornton Wilder’s comic masterpiece is a delightful exploration of love, adventure, and the pursuit of happiness, set against the All-American backdrop of business and commerce. “If I go, will you go too?
Will you follow me?
Will you promise me?”FROM THE CELEBRATED AUTHOR OF Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 comes a hauntingly original new musical about the search for human connection in the digital age. Featuring rich harmonies and intricate vocal arrangements, Octet finds compelling human drama in our middle-of-the-night anxieties about the impact of technology on the nature of our relationships.
The HVS production is the first to follow the original Off-Broadway version, which won the 2020 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding New Musical
