The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's World War II Weekend: A Gathering of Warbirds has become the premier event of its kind. For over three decades, we honor our history through D-Day remembrance, vehicle & aircraft displays and shows, war Veterans & speakers, vendors & demonstrations, battles & flights education, the Homefront education, re-enactors: at war and at home, and big bands & swing dancing.

Learning Ops/Challenges
Photographing vintage planes, interiors, close up, and planes in action.

Summary:

• 9:00am: Meet at the Reading Fairgrounds parking lot.
• 9:15am: Catch shuttle bus

Thematic aircraft display
Reenactors in WWII clothing/uniforms

• 11:00am: 1940 Fashion show
• 12:30-4:45pm: World War II aircraft fly overs
• Main demonstration battle mid-afternoon. Opportunity to capture aircraft on the ground and in flight.

Optional - 5:00 pm: Dinner at a local restaurant. (if you leave before, please let Al General know so we leave no one behind).

Equipment: Camera, cell phone, lenses (wide to telephoto)
