National Towel Day: 5 KM/3 mile Walk in Canton on May 25

Not sure how hot it will be, but for National Towel Day you might want to bring a little hand towel to wipe away the sweat in the event it is hot!

We will start at the Canton Recreation Park, go through part of downtown, journey up Academy Street to the historic cemetery and the public library, down to Pisgah High School, and back to the Rec Park. The up and down are fairly steep.

Dress appropriately for the weather.. Tennis shoes are fine. This is all pavement, but some might want walking sticks for the up and down. Bring water and a protein snack. Dogs on leash are welcome.
