What we’re about
Know that you are not alone. I'm also a mother abandoned by my 33 year old daughter. The last time I saw her was 9 years ago. Still my heart bleeds from a broken heart. This group is for parents who have no more contact, or barely any contact, with their adult children.
My purpose for forming this group is to build a community together with other parents who also carry this burden.
Together we can learn how to support each other by building new friendships and by doing different activities together. We can learn to live full lives again by taking time for ourselves. Life doesn't have to be a struggle on your own.
I will post different events as we go along, so I welcome you all and hope you will attend.
There's still a life after our adult children if we open that door and explore.
