DESCRIPTION:
Get ready for a wild and refreshing trek to one of the most enchanting waterfalls in Los Angeles County! We’re heading to Brown Mountain Dam via Gould Mesa Road and the Gabrielino Trail—a shady, creekside trail that just reopened to the public and is quickly becoming a local favorite!

Expect lush scenery, canopy-covered trails, multiple water crossings, and of course, the spectacular Brown Mountain Dam waterfall. This is not just a hike—it’s an adventure through a woodland wonderland, complete with the soothing sound of flowing creeks and the thrill of hopping (or splashing) across streams.

IMPORTANT TRAIL TIPS:
• Water crossings galore! Bring water shoes or sandals for creek crossings—unless you’re a pro at staying dry (no guarantees!).
• Most hikers get their feet wet—it’s part of the fun!
• This trail is mostly shaded, so it stays cool and comfortable throughout.
• Don’t forget to display your Adventure Pass to avoid a citation.
