Join the Happy Wanderers for our NEW guided group walks in the space-coast city of Titusville, FL. Our 5k (3miles) and 10k (6 miles) walks will visit scenic Space View Park with monuments to the US Space program as well as Veteran's Memorial Park and Sand Point Park, with vistas to NASA across the water. Both walks also highlight historic downtown buildings. The 10k walk also includes the Titusville Marina, Draa Park and a portion of the multi-use (bike) trail for the return leg to downtown.
Registration is open from 7:30 AM and the groups will depart at 8:00 AM. Parking and Start/Finish is at the Titusville Welcome Center:

Detailed maps & directions are provided for the route if you decide to walk on your own. Cost is $4.00 per participant, except children under 12. IVV Credit is available for volkssporters. The walks is on paved sidewalks along city streets and in parks and green spaces, and rated 1A (flat and easy). Both routes are suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Leashed pets are permitted.
NOTE: There is some ongoing construction on the seawall in Sand Point Park that we will have to detour around.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS From the NORTH: Take I-95 to Exit 220 for FL-406 (Garden St.) toward Titusville/Historic District. Drive 2.8 miles on Garden St. into Titusville to South Hopkins Ave. (US Route 1 South) Turn right on South Hopkins Ave. / US 1 for 0.3 miles (4 blocks) to Julia St. Turn left on Julia and then turn right into the parking lot of the Welcome Center.
From ORLANDO, Use FL 50 to head East towards the coast, passing the Orlando Wetlands Park, to I-95. Continue under the interstate then turn left on South St. (FL405) for 5.5 miles to S. Washington Ave. (US Route 1 North) The left on Washington / US 1 for 0.2 miles (2 blocks) to Pine St. and continue across Pine and make the next left into the Welcome center parking lot, on your left.
