Handy Bikes Classes and Events

We're back from a little break this Summer, but it's time to get back to work!
So far we've been working on lists to get you ready, but now we should talk about things to not take, or at least deciding what's not needed for every trip. Remember, the most precious commodity is SPACE! What ever you pack in, you should pack out. So don't weigh yourself down as it may be more of a burden than a convenience.
If it's your first time we will go over the basics so feel free to ask any questions. You can post a comment here for it to be answered in the class.
This weeks demonstration is sampling freeze dried backpacking meals. A lightweight alternative to fueling oneself for the miles.

Come on out with us for a friendly, no-drop ride! It may be hot SO KEEP PEDALLING! Remember, Winter riding is virtually non-existent, so get your miles in now with a safe and fun bunch of bicycle people.
Ride with the locals in the area. We are based in Alexandria, and will be sticking close going a little South this week. Upcoming weeks we will vary, riding into Maryland and DC.
Average speed under 16 mph, but a minimum of 12 MPH, for about 23+ miles.
