Guys World Travel is - Having FUN Traveling With Small Groups of Gay Men
We usually limit our travel groups to around 30 people max, because we want our travel experience to be more personal and friendly, giving you an opportunity to get to know other guys in the group, which have turned into lifetime friendships and guys you really enjoy traveling with.
My name is Doug White, and I've lived here in South Florida since 1989. I was a community leader for many years, having been involved with the MCC, The Pride Center (formerly the GLCC), S.A.G.E., Tuesday's Angels, AVER, the In Group, South Florida Social Circle, and many other organizations here in Greater Fort Lauderdale. I've been organizing and escorting travel groups for over 18 years. Travel is a passion of mine. This is a group for gay guys (and friends of guys) who enjoy traveling around the world with other guys. I'll be posting various Guy's World Travel trips, cruises, and our club get togethers. I have a lot of experience in organizing groups and LGBT Parties on cruise ships and destinations throughout the world. The group is open to anyone who wants to join. Look forward to you joining us as we travel around the world, and getting together once in awhile locally to talk about travel and where we want to go next. See you soon, Doug

Nassau, Bahamas - See some of Nassau’s most historic points of interest. Nassau has been recognized as a part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a city of Crafts and Folk Art. It is one of only three Caribbean cities to receive this honor. The city center is the hub for all activities in Nassau. Thousands of people visit daily, to shop, dine, sightsee and to enjoy the tropical climate of the city. While the busiest part of central city is the Bay Street thoroughfare and the Woodes Rogers Walk, located across the street from the port and parallel to Bay, the area extends for several blocks in each direction. It starts at West Bay, around the Junkanoo Beach area. A few hotels and restaurants are located on West Bay. A major landmark is the British Colonial Hotel, which marks the beginning of Bay Street proper. The next few blocks of Bay Street are wall-to-wall boutiques, with a few restaurants and clubs interspersed throughout the retailers. The Straw Market is a tourist destination in the city center. See Fort Montagu — the Battle of Nassau was fought there, the first successful amphibious assault by the fledgling U.S. Marine Corps during the American Revolutionary War. Next is the Queen’s Staircase, 66 steps carved by slaves out of solid coral rock. The top of the steps offers amazing views of Nassau below. Go to Rawson Square to the city’s legislative center, where you can’t miss the Houses of Parliament, a peachy-pink collection of buildings with bright green shutters.

Puerto Maya, also known as Costa Maya serves as a gateway to the Mexican Caribbean, offering many fun and interesting things for cruise passengers to see and do! There are a lot of great things to do in Costa Maya while on a cruise, including activities right at the cruise terminal, shore excursions to Mayan ruins, and beach clubs. Once in the Costa Maya port, you’ll find a large swimming pool with a swim up bar and free lounge chairs. There are several restaurants (many serving Mexican cuisine) and bars, boutiques, and shops selling local crafts and souvenirs.
Cozumel, Mexico is an island and municipality in the Caribbean Sea off the eastern coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, opposite Playa del Carmen. Cozumel is surrounded by a diverse ecosystem of coral reefs that is home to more than 1,000 marine species. The reefs are primarily found on underwater cliffs; some exist in coastal lagoons and on sand bars at the north tip of the island. The Maya are believed to have first settled Cozumel by the early part of the 1st millennium AD, and older Preclassic Olmec artifacts have been found on the island as well. The island was sacred to Ixchel, the Maya Moon Goddess of fertility. Also famous for its ancient Mayan Ruins, beautiful beaches, and quaint fishing villages.
In the Mayan culture, all women were required to travel to the island at least once to worship Ixchel. She was the wife of Itzamna, the supreme Mayan lord of the skies of the night and of the day. The women asked Ixchel for fertility and for a joyful motherhood. Archeologists continue to unearth small dolls once sacrificed in the fertility rituals. The first Spanish expedition to visit Cozumel was led by Juan de Grijalva in 1518. In the following year, Hernán Cortés stopped by the island on his way to Veracruz. A number of ruins can be found on the island, most from the Post-Classic period.
