MEETING AT FRIDAY STREET CAR PARK AT 12.30pm.

Route

Walking from Friday street car park , with plenty of free parking We will walk in the Direction of Leigh Hill where we will stop for cup of tea. On route we pass Cold Harbour , the route will take us on southerly route to leigh Hill , with views out across the south Downs

There is plenty of parking at Friday street. This is circular arriving back at friday street 4 to 5pm.

i Be leaving guildford railway station at 9am if any want a lift , with £10 contribution towards petrol i have two spaces.

We will meet at Chichester Marina Public car park at 10.30am which is located on the right down access road as your entre Chichester Marina . there is small charge for parking, probably best to car share etc

From Here we walk the Harbour path to the wittering , and return via the sultan way back to Chichester Marina , this is flat Hike with many varied views and wild life .

Crossing fields with views of the Bosham Estuary on our right and views of the south Downs in front , and the spire of Chichester Cathedral on the sky Line .

We will stop for a packed lunch , and coffee on route , are number places on route, for very pleasant stop and enjoyment.

We will cross Chichester Marina ,a working marina , and cross the tidal lock , which is always pleasant stop to view the various craft coming through the locks , and wild life on the mud flats.

From here we do circular , via Witterings, and then back via sultan way .

MEETING PLACE DENDIES OUTSIDE SHOP DENDIES

This scenic circular hilly walk starts at Denbies . We start with short circuit of the Vineyard at Denbies . We climb onto Ranmore Common Then direct to Polesdon Lacey, a stately home with stunning views.

We will take a tea break there. Our walk then takes us back through the valley back to Denbies before we return to our start point.

There are some hills .

No service is inferred or risk assumed.

If arriving by car there is free parking in Chichester Road opposite the station, or plenty of free parking in Denbies main car park , meeting place out front.
