How it works

We meet once a month, 12 months a year, on the same day, week, and time of the month. Each month we cover a different investing topic in the Lifecycle of an Investor—ranging from wholesaling to rehabbing to becoming a bank through private lending.

Our meetings are not sales pitches. They are opportunities for us to dive deep into a real estate topic, connect with local experts in our marketplace, and build long-term relationships with other doers and deal-makers.

GRID DC is led by Carlos Garcia and Mohammed

Carlos is an attorney, real estate investor, licensed real estate salesperson, business owner, and partner with community organizations, non-profits, and social entrepreneurs.

Carlos has been investing in real estate since the 1990s. He has a portfolio of commercial residential properties. In addition to advising homeowners, Carlos advises investors, small business owners, and non-profits on real estate investing and commercial transactions.

About Nadia

Nadia is a native Washingtonian who became a Realtor® to help build her community through the dream of home ownership. With a passion for helping others, she uses her deep understanding of the local market to help her clients navigate the often-complex world of real estate.
Nadia is a “goal-getter” for her clients; she takes action every day to help them achieve their goals. Her low-pressure approach yet tenacious demeanor advocating on her client’s behalf contribute to her on-going success in the industry. Most important to her is earning her client’s trust, providing transparency, and delivering unparalleled services.

Prior to joining Keller Williams and Eng Garcia Properties, Nadia graduated Summa Cum Laude with her MBA and successfully led marketing departments in various industries for over a decade.

When she isn’t volunteering in her community or helping her clients build wealth through real estate, you’ll often find her exploring new restaurants and bars, rooting for her beloved Tar Heels during college basketball games, discovering new recipes to cook, working out at the gym or yoga studio, reading up on supercars, and listening to Go-Go music. Nadia is fluent in Arabic and conversational in Spanish.
