Community Clean Up- Pegasus Park

Help us keep our spaces green!!!!

The pond in front of the Pegasus building is part of a storm water drain system that connects to Knight's Branch which feeds into the Trinity. There is a lot of trash that accumulates from the highway and from upstream. Let's get out there and stop that trash from entering the Trinity and finding its way to the Gulf of Mexico.

Pegasus Park is home to a surprising amount of wildlife!

By the way- Our friends at Community Brewing and Kitchen are across the way and a great place to have lunch after!!

Greenspace Dallas will provide all tools, leather gloves, and equipment.

• What to wear:
We will be working outdoors in areas that may have mosquitoes and poison ivy. Please wear boots or sturdy, closed-toe shoes, pants, and socks that come over the calves. We do not recommend ankle socks, yoga pants, or leggings.
• Other personal items to bring:
Water bottle(s), sunscreen, bug repellent, sunglasses, and snacks
• Greenspace Dallas will also provide additional safety and first aid materials.

Please note, our volunteer events are held outside and are dependent on weather conditions. We make every effort to make cancelation decisions by 3:00 pm on Friday. We will communicate any cancellations, or changes, through MeetUp and our email list.
