Details
From the Duxbury trailhead we’ll to Wind Gap via the Monroe and Dean trails, then follow the Long Trail to the Camels Hump summit and descend via the Monroe Trail. As for any spring hike, if we run into significant mud season conditions we will cancel or switch to some as of now undetermined plan B. Difficult Hike/snowshoe. Moderate pace. 8.4 miles. 2400′ elevation gain. You must contact me (David Hathaway, david.hathaway.78@gmail.com) and verify that you are ready and equipped to do this difficult hike and let know what hikes you've done this winter. I will then move you from the waitlist (maximum 10 people). I will send meeting details the week before the trip.
