Let's discuss GOLD DIGGERS OF 1933 and the pre-code era

Details
Warner Brothers' top box office draw of 1933 and considered the best of their GOLD DIGGERES series was not originally filmed as a musical. The Busby Berkeley choreographed musical numbers were added later.
Set in New York at the height of the depression four struggling actresses and an unknown composer find funding for a new show via a millionaire's son who also dreams of success on the stage, but his family has other ideas. There's music, comedy, a mistaken identity, scheming, and a bit of pre-code scandal.
Starring Warren William, Joan Blondell, Alice MacMahon, Ruby Keeler, Dick Powell, and Ginger Rogers with a brief cameo by Berkeley.
