What we’re about
Welcome to the Grand Junction Gem & Mineral Club Meetup Page!
Here you will find announcements about our Public Activities, like the Annual Gem and Mineral Show.
Our club meets at 7pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday's during most months. (Not Thanksgiving or Christmas, and we are gone rockhounding a couple 4th Thursdays in the summer). Altogether we meet about 20 times per year.
Our club meets at 2328 Monument Road, Grand Junction, CO 81507. The public is welcome. You can visit our club meetings any number of times for free. By all means, please do! We would love to meet you. And if you have a rock you cannot identify, we will love to look at it with you.
You can find different information about classes, shop days, special events, and field trips at our nearby Member site: https://www.meetup.com/Grand-Junction-Gem-and-Mineral-Club-Members/ You'll need to be a member of the club to gain access to that page. See Member information here: https://www.grandjunctionrockclub.org/membership-package/. Download the Membership Package and submit the filled-out forms with payment (you can mail them or bring them to a meeting). Once we receive the membership forms and your payment, you can request to join the Member site to gain access there.
Not going to join the club, but still want to take a class or join a field trip? Come to a Meeting and talk with the instructors or have a Club Member sponsor you.
