This moderate 5.5 mi hike with 600 ft of total climb is just east of the Rampart Range. Enjoy views of one of the largest limestone buttes, Pikes Peak, Rampart Range, Greenland Open Space, and the Palmer Divide. Expect ample sun with temps into the 70s. Basic facilities available at the parking area.
BRING: Weather appropriate gear. Extra water. Emergency info and needs. Snacks for the trail and /or optional after-hike picnic. All are welcome, including well behaved hikers with dogs on leash.
