Ogmore by Sea to Dunraven Castle + picnic (6 mile walk, about 1.5 hours drive)

Bit of a jaunt for this one! Off to the sea again to the dramatic Ogmore-by-Sea (featuring Lawrence of Arabia’s sand dunes!). It’s about 1h35 drive from Cheltenham so worth car shares.

Meet at the main (paid) car park by the sea on Seaview Drive and we’ll walk about 3 miles to Dunraven walled gardens and castle along the coastal path, and come back the same way. It’s all offlead and mostly set back from the cliffs.

Will be very much weather dependent! I’d recommend bringing a picnic just in case but there is a lovely cafe West Farm about halfway to Dunraven, assuming it’s nice enough to sit outside! 🤞
