Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas

Join Glasgow Young Walkers on a walk to Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas. We will follow the following route: https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/perthshire/ben-lawers.shtml
· Meeting point/time: Meet at the Ben Lawers car park to start the walk for 09:00.
· Distance: 6.75 miles
· Ascent: 942 m
· Duration: 4-6 hours
· Terrain: Clear path to summit but remember this walk is at a high level and is very exposed to bad weather.

This walk is limited to 12 attendees.

Getting there
By car: The starting point of the walk is 1 hour 40 minutes away by car from the city centre of Glasgow. If you can offer a lift, please add this to the comments with the number of places you have. Non drivers will be expected to contribute towards fuel costs. Priority will be given to those that can offer lifts.

This is a strenuous walk with a considerable amount of ascent thus previous hillwalking experience and a good fitness are essential. Please wear suitable walking boots and bring your full waterproofs. Please also make sure that you have food and water on you. Additionally, walk leaders reserve the right to turn away participants who, in their opinion, are inadequately equipped or unfit for the type of walk.
