Hello all,
For the first time ever on meetup, we're going to go a Still Game theme subcrawl.
Us Scots know what Still Game is but for people who don't know it' it's about pensioners who have all retired who live in a area called Craiglang which is known to be a se hole. It has The Clansman which is run by the bar tended Boaby and a shop ran by Navid who are 2 or the characters. Jack and Victor are the best of pals since childhood, Winston who doesn't take any crap, Tam who is a miserable tight fisted b**d and of course Isa who is the gossip of the whole of Craiglang.
Still Game is well known as one of the best Scottish comedy sitcoms ever created and if you haven't watched it then watch it before you come along to the subcrawl.
For the people who know the show there's other characters such as Edith, auld Eric, Jennie McCalpine, Shug with the big ears, Methodone Mick, Fergie, Meena, big Inness and many more.
I'll upload pictures of the characters so you know who to dress up as so we can make it a great day out and pretend we're in The Clansmans like auld pensioners.
Dressing up is encouraged to be like the characters out of Still Game.
As per usual, we'll meet in Hootenanny for 1PM and set to the next pub from there.
Please remember to buy your all day ticket before it starts and be mindful that some of the pubs are cash only.
