Get Together in Worthing

Join us for afternoon coffee, tea or any drink that you fancy at the Burlington Hotel. It was built in 1865 and is the oldest hotel in Worthing. With views over the sea, it provides an historic setting but with a contemporary twist. Charles Dickens was one of its early guests and it is said to be where Oscar Wilde wrote “The Importance of Being Ernest.”

Places fill up quickly, but often people drop out along the way, so it is always worth putting yourself on the waitlist.

Our regular Friday night get togethers continue with drinks at The Last Resort Private Members Club. Located on Marine Parade with clear views of the sea, this is a charming venue with reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff. I have initially booked us a table for up to 10 people, but this may be flexible.

The Egremont has a very good Sunday lunch menu. Tasty and good portions. The only negative is that there are no fish dishes included, but the vegetarian option is very good.

Friendly staff and a good range of local beers, makes the Egremont a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Come along to our regular micropub late afternoon/early evening drinks get together.

They serve a variety of wines, spirits & beers including local ales.
