Our regular first-Sunday-of-the-month Dim Sum occurs at 12:30 p.m. at Furama Restaurant 4936 N. Broadway, 2nd Floor Landing, in Chicago. We go in promptly at 12:30 p.m., split into tables of 10, with each table splitting the bill. Afterwards we go to SoFo Tap, 4923 N. Clark, for libations. Asians and Friends Chicago will raise funds for its 2025 Pride Parade Entry on Sat., May 17 at 7 p.m. at Holiday Club, 4000 N. Sheridan Road in Chicago. We're calling it our "Masquerade Songbird" Singing Contest, mimicking the popular, celebrity singing TV show. Our DJ will be Aaron Sager and we've got initial raffle prizes from Atmosphere Bar, Campit Outdoor Resort, Lucky Horseshoe, Max's Place, The North End and Touche Chicago. We're setting up ticket sales as we speak, but in the meantime, you can go to our website, www.afchicago.org, and make a $25 donation on our Donation tab. We'll have your name and will put you on our list of registered guests. We'll reveal other entertainers and sponsors soon, so check back, but also, save the date!
