Join the Fysh Brain crew and learn the basics of freshwater fishing. We will be meeting rain or shine. Adult participation is required for young children. All ages welcome.
Please bring your own rod and reel.

**** We will bring a few fishing nets that can be used during event
**** We will also provide some basic bait, and basic supplies for use during the meet up.
**** We do have some extra rods and gear that you could use during the event time but have limited numbers, so please message us to reserve.
Anyone over the age of 16 must obtain a valid freshwater fishing licence prior to attending. You can purchase a 1 Day, 8 Day or Annual Licence.
If you are under 16 and a resident of BC, you may sport fish without any licence or stamp but must still abide by the regulations.

Day of event, remember to bring:
• Rod and reel with line ( we recommend 6-8 lb line )
• Fishing tackle /supplies as listed above
• Fishing license (printed or digital)
• Dress for the weather, comfortable
• Hat / sunglasses / sunscreen
• Water / snack etc.
• Chair / rod holder

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISK and INDEMNITY AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”)
By accepting this agreement, you will waive certain legal rights, including the right to sue for any injury, including death, or damages.
TO: The Fysh Brain and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents (together, the “Releasees”).
In this Agreement the term “Activities” shall include all activities, programs, services, and events arranged, organized, conducted, or sponsored by the Releasees and shall include but not be limited to activities on Fysh Brain premises as well as off-site locations. I hereby acknowledge that this Agreement shall be effective and binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns, and representatives, in the event of my death or incapacity. In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Activities provided by Fysh Brain, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that participation in Activities involves inherent risks and dangers, including but not limited to physical exertion, outdoor exposure, open water, falling rock, trees, earth, wildlife, plants, negligence of other participants or the Releasees, that can cause serious injury, damages, or even death. I fully understand the risks and dangers associated with my participation in the Activities and freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting therefrom.
Release of Liability: In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Activities, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Fysh Brain and the Releasees from any and all lability for injury, death, property damage or any other loss sustained by me or any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, while participating in the Activities.
Indemnification: I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fysh Brain and the Releasees from any and all claims, labilities, costs, losses, or damages, including legal fees, arising out of or related to my participation in the Activities, including any claims brought by third parties.
I ACKNOWLEDGE I AM 19 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, AND I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT, I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A PROHIBITION ON MY ABILITY TO SUE THE SOCIETY AND THE RELEASEES AND THAT IT CONSTITUTES A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND AN INDEMNITY FOR ALL CLAIMS. IF I AM THE PARENT AND/OR GUARDIAN OF THE PARTICIPANT(S) WHO ARE UNDER THE AGE OF MAJORITY, I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND AND EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF SUCH PARTICIPANT(S).
By RSVP'ing "Yes", for this event, you acknowledge that you fully understand and accept the aforementioned conditions and following event attendance conditions and, you are solely responsible for your own health, safety and well-being before, during and at anytime after the event as stated previously.
