Existentialism in Fiction: No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre (Online)

Details

For the month of May, we will be covering existentialist themes in works of fiction every Wednesday at 08:00 pm through Discord. To start the month off, we will cover the play, No Exit, by existentialist philosopher, Jean Paul-Sartre.

In reading No Exit, consider the following questions:

How do people lose their individuality in entering relationships with others?

What are the ways conflict ensues when we try to control how others perceive us?

What are the attitudes of being in relationships that make them agonizing?

Join us for a thoughtful discussion on Sartre's play and what it says about human relationships. Access to the reading and meeting are available via the Discord link.
