Penns Cave and Elk Viewing PA

Details
Day one we travel to Penn's Cave and Wildlife Park.
# Cave Tour
#### A 45-50 minute fully-guided tour of the all-water cavern,
#### given entirely by boat!
The cave tour is not handicapped accessible – there are 48 steep concrete steps that lead to the dock entrance where the tour boats are boarded. There are handrails on either side of the stairs. There is also a 300 foot paved inclined path that leads to the staircase. The same stairs and path are used to return to the Visitors Center following the tour.
#### Enjoy our 90-minute, guided Farm-Nature-Wildlife Tour given by bus through the Penn’s Cave grazing pastures, mountain trails and forests.
See Native North-American animals such as bison, Texas longhorn cattle, red & silver foxes, black bears, elk, whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, wild burros, mountain lions, and our wolf pack of gray and arctic wolves!
You’ll be entertained as well as educated on this fully-guided bus tour; even life-long Pennsylvanians will learn something new about the geology, biology and geography of the center of our state.
During a stop along the tour, you will walk through our outdoor natural butterfly garden where, in blooming season, you will see species including Monarchs, Eastern Tiger Swallowtails and Viceroys.
Dinner will included tonight

Our 4-D theater is a great way to immerse yourself in the history of the elk as well as a four season journey through the eyes of an elk. Many surprises await you in our sensory theater. We also have three easily accessible trails that are centrally located for optimal viewing. Our on-site gift shop, The Treasure Shed, features a variety of local artisan products, unique gifts, custom clothing and proudly only sells MADE IN THE USA products.
