The best of Cornwall - King Arthur Castle, Lands End and Minack Theatre

During May bank holiday we will explore Cornwall, well known for its beautiful golden beaches and dramatic cliffs. We will walk on the best coastal paths and beaches and visit the most famous landmarks of Cornwall: During early May we will have lovely spring wild flowers and plenty of daylight to explore Cornwall as sunset will not be until after 8pm. We will be visiting places of outstanding beauty and tranquil Cornish fishing villages and seaside towns. All of our walks will be all along the coast. This event is designed for energetic, fit walkers that wish to explore the gems of Cornwall.

Sunday 4th May: Tintagel Castle (King Arthur castle) walk to Boscastle
Monday 5th May: walk to Lands End, Minack Theatre and St Michael's Mount

I only have 8 FREE places for members for this 2 free day event. Members need to organise their own accommodation and need to have access to a car as there are no public transportation to the start/finish of these walks. Please note Cornwall is over 250 miles/400km away - over 5 hours driving from London.

I am also organising a “non free” 4 day event ( 1 day in Dorset and 3 days in Cornwall) the full itinerary is below. Leaving London on Saturday 3rd May, returning late to London on Tuesday 6th May. 10:00 - 11:30 Walk to Tintagel Castle (2 miles, 1 hill)
11:30 - 13:00 Visit Tintagel Castle or cornish pasties at Tintagel village
13:00 - 17:00 Walk from Tintagel castle to Boscastle (5 miles with 3 hills)
17:00 - 18:00 Break at Boscastle
18:00 - 19:00 Drive to Wadebridge Premium Inn hotel
19:00 - 19:00 Rest, wash and relax
19:30 -: 21:30 Dinner in restaurant

Today we will venture from North Cornwall to South Cornwall.

09:30 - 10:15 Walk from Sennen to Lands End (2 miles with 1 hill)
10:15 - 15:20 Walk from Lands End to Minack Theatre (7 miles with 3 hills to walk)
15:20 - 15:20 Visit Minack Theatre or rest at the beach
15:30 - 15:50 Drive to St Michael’s Mount
16:00 - 17:00 Short walk the Causeway to St Michael’s Mount
17:00- 18:30 Drive to Premium Inn hotel for dinner

08:30 Walk along Padstow Bay
