Welcome to Free And Cheap Things in Boston (aka "FACT Boston")!
FACT Boston has two primary objectives:
(1) inform people about free (or darn cheap) things to do in Boston that they might not otherwise know about, and
(2) help people find others to do those things with, in case they don't feel like doing them alone.
We'll find fun things to do that are either free or cost no more than $10. And we'll make some new friends in the process!

Join Us for the 2nd Annual Mini Renaissance Faire at the Ashland Public Library!
We’re excited to announce that With Love and Gratitude will be hosting mediumship sessions as part of the Ashland Public Library's 2nd Annual Mini Renaissance Faire! This event is perfect for anyone who loves all things medieval, pirates, puffy shirts, and more.
There will be two free mediumship sessions:
- 11:00 AM
- 1:00 PM
In addition to the mediumship sessions, the Mini Renaissance Faire will feature a wide variety of fun activities, including jousts, crafts, and vendors offering unique items. This is a wonderful event for all ages, with something for everyone to enjoy. But it's not just about the entertainment—this event also offers a chance to learn about life in the past, with hands-on demonstrations and activities that showcase how people lived and survived in medieval times.
Don't forget to wear your costume! Whether you're coming as a knight, a pirate, or anything in between, we encourage you to dress up and immerse yourself in the spirit of the Renaissance.
Bring the whole family for a day filled with fun, history, and magic!***the mediumship events are free
