Lost in Frenchlation breaks the language barrier and brings the best of French cinema to the international community in Paris, Lyon and Biarritz. We host screenings of French films with English subtitles at independent cinemas, each with a convivial cocktail hour before the movie for catching up with friends!

Sugary, unreal, saturated with colors, and with a tendency to put kitsch to its absolute limit (and then a bit further), Peau d’Âne is one of those mad oddities of a film that you will either love or hate. Paris 1941. François Mercier is an ordinary man whose only goal is to start a family with the woman he loves, Blanche. He is also the employee of a talented jeweler, Mr. Haffmann.
