What we’re about
We are a 60 something COUPLE looking to expand our social circle with other COUPLES that are close to our age and live in south Calgary. We would like to get together once or twice a month and try different social activities, such as dinning out (or doing a pot lucks) going to see live music (or just going for chicken wings), and either attending or watching live sporting events as a group. We have many other ideas that we would like to propose as well. We are hoping to create fun times for people that are in a similar situation as us. This group is for COUPLES ONLY, that are in a long term committed relationship and that are between the ages of 55 to 70. If you live in other areas of the city you are also welcome to join our group. Most of our events will be held in the south part of Calgary though. When you join this group please put a picture of you and your partner on our group website and a small description of who you are. If this looks good to you, then please join the group and we will look forward to meeting you! To be a member of this group, there is a $60.00 per couple, per calendar year administration fee. For new members please send the fee as soon as you sign up to attend your first event. Thank you!

Bow Valley Parkway - Bike Information
Come and join us for a beautiful bike ride along the Bow Valley Parkway. We will also be riding on the paths into Banff. This is about a 25k bike ride. We will start at Johnston Canyon where there is lots of parking. We will meet in parking lot 2 at 1:00. We will have the whole road to ride on. This is mostly a downhill ride. The month of May they will be closing it down to cars and it will be open for cyclists and hikers. Bring yourselves some water to drink, as we will stop a bit to enjoy the beautiful views along the way. At the end of this ride we will go to a restaurant for a couple of drinks, hopefully on a rooftop patio in Banff. We have made a reservation at 5:00 to go to the Grizzly House for dinner. This is a fondue restaurant and we really enjoy going there. For those of you that don’t have bikes of your own to ride, there are a few bike shops in Banff that you can rent from. We think this is a lovey way to spend a Saturday afternoon/evening! This event is of course weather permitting.
