Embrace Your Greatness
A Family Constellations Workshop hosted by Batikan Aslan
We often find ourselves trying to live in the narrowest place, carrying the lightest weight possible. To avoid causing trouble or being rejected, we become portable, moldable—“nice.”
Something I’ve been reminding myself lately is : in order to fit ourselves into any space, the room must be slightly larger than us. When our greatness is fully welcomed by an environment, we can grow and breathe more freely.
In this workshop, we will work with the principles of Family Constellations, which allow us to explore the dynamics that play out in our relationship to our wholeness in the world—how much of ourselves we choose to bring into a space, or not. It offers a lens through which we can remember who we are—and sometimes discover a truth we’ve always known.

About Family Constellations
Family Constellations is a tool that allows us to see a moving image of what's in our minds. In this work, you will use your body in action, leading you to move more with your feelings and less with your thoughts.
Having a somatic sense often allows you to relate to life slightly differently than you did before.
Important Information
This work is not a substitute for therapy. As this is a group workshop if you have a sense that you would be destabilized by yourself or others speaking about challenging events, then this workshop may not be for you. While I hope that the processes and information I share can be useful in your journey, I do not have the resources to support extreme psychological difficulties.
About me
Born and raised in Istanbul, I moved to New York City 11 years ago to study for my Master's in Branding. In Turkey, i was a Ballet Dancer and I competed and taught Latin American Dances. My dance career was my initial transformation and my first serious step into the concept of healing. I have been facilitating Family Constellations for more than years under the supervision of Suzi Tucker. Currently, I am studying to become a Gestalt Therapist at Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy and Training.
